A lot of people come up to me very optimistic about launching their Google Adwords campaign. Some do not have an idea how much their Adwords campaign is going to cost or how many impressions they’ll get from a campaign. Others are wondering whether their campaign will actually work. Most of them are wondering how much the cost per click should be.
My answer? Well, when they give me a straight figure, such as a $50 commission, I tell them that the cost per click might be around that amount and ONLY if it converts a hundred per cent. The cold hard truth about Google Adwords is that you have to lose some and win some.
That’s right. When you start out your Google Adwords campaign, be prepared for some losses. At least, until your Adwords campaign can get off the ground and becomes a viable Internet marketing campaign.
I won’t be all optimistic here. You have to know how to go about your Adwords campaign the proper way or you’ll be losing money and left with a failed campaign and some self-esteem damage to boot.
That’s why before you take the plunge with Adwords, equip yourself with enough knowledge so the losses are kept to a minimum. You have to be conservative, or else, you’ll be facing credit card debt up to your eyeballs if you don’t do it right. That’s a risk you have to take, but believe me, the rewards are worth it.
